March for Meals Marches On!

Bolton, ON, March 27, 2015-

The annual Caledon March for Meals campaign still has legs… or shall we say wheels! More local businesses are coming forward expressing their interest in supporting or volunteering with Caledon Meals on Wheels.

Today, Ian Gates from Orangeville’s Motion Mazda joined us to deliver meals locally. Ian and our Meals on Wheels volunteer were riding in style in the Motion Mazda Shuttle. Their $500 sponsorship allowed them to experience first hand the need within the community and how the delivery of a meal and a friendly visit puts a smile on the recipient’s face.

March may be coming to a close but April 9th marks another important milestone for us. Dufferin-Caledon MP David Tilson and Caledon Fire Chief Dave Forfar will be delivering meals in Caledon.

For more information about the program or to join, please call Caledon Meals on Wheels at 905-584-2992.
