We’ve been Delivering Nutritious Meals to our Clients for Over 30 Years

What Makes our Meals Different?

All our menus are created under the direction of a Registered Dietician who ensures that they adhere to Canada’s Food Guide and are delivered right to your door by one of our friendly volunteers.

We Deliver Hot and Frozen Meals

Hot meals* are prepared fresh daily and can be ordered 1 to 5 times a week on a long-term or temporary basis. Please call us to place your order at 905-584-2992.

Frozen meals* are delivered regularly throughout the community. Click here for more information or to order frozen meals.

Who Qualifies for Meals?

Individuals who are over 65 years of age and/or have difficulty in providing for their own nutritional needs due to;

  • a physical, cognitive or mental health disability
  • long-term or short-term illness or injury

FAQs

Do I need a referral to get meals?

No, we serve meals to qualified individuals who is in need of temporary or long-term support accessing nutritious meals.

Are meals just for seniors?

The hot and/or frozen meal service and security check is for individuals who are over 65 years of age and/or have difficulty in providing for their own nutritional needs due to;

  • a physical, cognitive or mental health disability
  • long-term or short-term illness or injury

Are the meals free?

There is a fee for the meals which is subsidized by government funding. There is an additional subsidy available for the Hot Meals program for individuals in financial need. Please contact Erin Paisley at 905.584.2992 for more details.

For Hot Meals, can I choose my meals from a menu?

No, but you can tell us what you don’t like and we’ll make sure that you get an alternate option.   If you would like options, our frozen menu offers a wide variety of meals, soups and desserts to choose from.

How many meals are made each year?

In 2015/2016 , over 25,000 meals were delivered to clients in the Caledon and Orangeville area.
