Bolton, ON –October 6, 2016

This past week, Caledon Meals on Wheels (CMOW) received the keys to a new vehicle from Bolton Hyundai. The vehicle is a key part of the ongoing support offered through the Community Engagement Sponsorship from Performance Auto Group.

The brand new 2017 Hyundai Tuscon, is completely personalized with CMOW’s logo. Last year, CMOW had the opportunity to utilize a Nissan Rogue, provided by Bolton Nissan.

Executive Director Christine Sevigny says “ Performance Auto Group’s generosity is allowing us to support seniors and people living with illness or disability in the Caledon and Orangeville area, while promoting the CMOW brand. The CMOWbile goes out to all events we attend, delivers meals and has been spotted in last year’s Christmas parade”.

Performance Auto Group ongoing support also includes access to meeting space at their four local dealerships, support with printed materials and a $750 discount on Performance Auto Group vehicles was given to all of CMOW’s volunteers. To add to the excitement, one lucky Innis Lake Dance guest won a “Drive Your Dream Weekend”, an opportunity to drive a brand new vehicle of their choice for two days.

Attending the dance on behalf of Performance was Bill Anderson, Community Ambassador, along with Drew Delaware, Director of Marketing, who was enthusiastic about the group’s support of Caledon Meals on Wheels. “Across the hundreds of organizations we support throughout the communities we serve, few are as strong and impactful as Caledon Meals on Wheels. We are very happy to provide assistance to this well-run organization.”

The official handover of the keys was held at the Innis Lake Dance, CMOW’s signature fundraiser, on September 23rd, 2016.
